Day 1 - Chrome Horse to St. Augustine – 179 miles
Let’s go! Ride scenic back roads through central Florida and into the Ocala National Forest. Cruise along and over the St. Johns River and up to the “First Coast” to our destination of St. Augustine, the oldest city (continuous) in the United States. Visit the Castillo de San Marcos and/or end the evening with a ghost tour.

Continue up A1A the closest you can get to the sea. Cross the St. Johns river again by a short trip on the Mayport Ferry. A short ride up to Fernandina Beach and then head east and take country back roads up to Georgia and into the Okefenokee Swamp! Enjoy an 8 mile scenic ride through the swamp and a boat tour to see nature and old homesteads of the past.

Head south out of the swamp and back into Florida. Visit historic White Springs and head south down the hidden coast to the sleepy little fishing village of Cedar Key. Enjoy the evening on the pier with cocktails, watch a spectacular sunset, and eat a great seafood dinner.

In the morning take an island boat tour of the cedar key islands or head to Homosassa Springs for a boat tour to see the manatees and other wildlife. Then ride more back roads to Rainbow Springs or our favorite biker friendly fish camp Sleepy Hollow for lunch.
