TERMS & CONDITIONS

Monday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Sunday: 12pm – 5pm

HOLIDAYS

We are closed on all major holidays, however, please call as we do make special arrangements for picking up or dropping of bikes. Fee may apply.

MOTORCYCLE RENTAL RESERVATION TERMS

  • A $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to make a reservation and will be applied to the balance of the rental at time of pickup.
  • Reservations are highly recommended to ensure availability and the preferred motorcycle of your choice.
  • Your reservation will only be confirmed when Chrome Horse has received the $50.00 non-refundable deposit by credit card or cash and has sent you a confirmation notice by e-mail.
  • Rescheduling of dates and/or times can be made at any time; however, does not guarantee model.
  • No credit/refunds for early returns, unused portion of rental, late pickups or undesirable weather conditions (ask about our rain discount).
  • Motorcycles can only be held for 1 hour beyond scheduled pickup time and then can be deemed rentable if we do not receive a call to reschedule.
  • A full day rental charge of $139.00 will be applied to your credit card if there is a no show and/or no call to reschedule.
  • Chrome Horse will make every attempt to provide preferred motorcycle but does not guarantee model availability.
  • THERE IS A $100.00 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT REQUIRED FOR ALL BIKE WEEKS THAT WILL BE CHARGED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD AT TIME OF RESERVATION.

MOTORCYCLE SUBSTITUTION

We reserve the right to substitute the motorcycle confirmed to the customer. Unfortunately, unexpected and uncontrollable situations may arise that can require the substitution of the motorcycle that was confirmed. This includes, but is not limited to, delay in delivery of new motorcycles, damages to motorcycle, mechanical difficulties or non-returned motorcycles as scheduled.

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Customer is responsible for fuel costs and must return the motorcycle with the same level of fuel as when it left the premises. A fuel charge of $5.00 per gallon will be charged if it is not.
  • The customer is responsible for checking engine oil levels at each refueling
  • Customer is responsible for reporting any mechanical failures immediately.
  • Customer may be held responsible for mechanical damage due to negligence of operation or failure to provide normal maintenance as instructed.
  • Instructions and procedures for maintenance will be given at time of orientation

CUSTOMER ORIENTATION

Every customer will receive a full orientation on the motorcycle that they choose. The customer orientation will include safety tips, cover all aspects of proper operation, and maintenance procedures.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver must be 21 years or older, and posses a valid drivers license that qualifies them to operate a motorcycle in the country of origin.
  • No one is allowed to drive the motorcycle except for the person named on the rental contract and insurance will be void if this rule is not followed.
  • Rental motorcycles are not allowed on gravel roads, beaches, or non-public roads.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT

A damage deposit of $1,000 (authorization only) will be held on a credit card at time of rental to secure funds in case of damages. Although the renter is responsible for the first $2,000 in damages, Chrome Horse opts to only hold $1,000 for convenience to our customers.

STORAGE

We can provide storage for your luggage, and other personal items if needed at your own risk. Your vehicle can be left at our store and is kept in a secured area.

HELMETS

Helmets are provided with the rental at no extra charge. Customers are encouraged to bring their own helmets for comfort.
