Business Hours
Monday – Saturday: 9am – 6pm
Sunday: 12pm – 5pm
We have flexible hours for Sunday pickups and drop offs, please call if you would like to make arrangements to pickup earlier or drop off later.

Holidays
We are closed on all major holidays, however, we will make special arrangements for picking up or dropping off bikes on an as needed basis, please call.

Driver Requirements
Driver must be 21 years or older and possess a current drivers license with a motorcycle endorsement that qualifies them to operate a motorcycle in the state or country of origin.

Reservation Procedures
In order to reserve a motorcycle Chrome Horse requires a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be applied to your balance at time of pickup. If you are renting for 24 hours or more we recommend you make the reservation at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure you get the motorcycle you want. Your reservation can be taken over the phone or you can submit a reservation form to us. We will then confirm your reservation by e-mail. If you would like to do a walk-in rental please call at least a day in advance to make sure of availability.

Cancellations
If you have to cancel please call us as soon as you know. We will apply your $50.00 deposit towards a future date (does not guarantee model).

Poor Weather Conditions
If poor weather conditions are occurring at time of pickup, you have the option of re-scheduling for another day and your deposit will be applied on that day, or you can revise your pickup and drop off times.

Customer Orientation
Every customer will receive a full orientation on the motorcycle that they choose. The customer orientation will include safety tips, cover all aspects of proper operation, and maintenance procedures.

Storage/Parking
We can provide free storage for your luggage, and other personal items if needed at your own risk. Your vehicle can be left at our store and is kept in a secured area also at your own risk.

Maintenance Procedures
Instructions and procedures for maintenance will be given at time of orientation. It is the renter’s responsibility to immediately contact Chrome Horse should any suspect or evident mechanical malfunction occur. Chrome Horse provides 24-hour roadside assistance.

Fuel Costs
Customer is responsible for fuel costs. Motorcycles will be full at time of checkout and must be returned full upon drop off. A fuel charge of $15.00 will be applied to the renter’s credit card if tank is not full upon drop off.

Insurance
State law requires riders to possess liability insurance which is charged at $15.00 each rental day by our insurance company. There are also additonal coverages you may purchase (please see our insurance page for complete details).

Renter agrees that once vehicle is taken into possession, all insurance is fully earned and no refunds will be given for any unused days.

Damage Deposit
A damage deposit (authorization only) will be held on a credit card at time of rental pickup to secure funds in case of damages.

Riding Restrictions
  • Rental motorcycles are not allowed on gravel roads, beaches, or non-public roads. CDW will become void if you do.
  • No one is allowed to drive the motorcycle except for the person(s) named on the rental contract and insurance will be void if this rule is not followed.
  • You must notify Chrome Horse if you are planning on taking the bike out of state prior to rental pickup.
